How to delete your data from BrickProof
If you have signed in to BrickProof (including with Facebook, Google, or email), you can permanently delete your account and all data we hold at any time.
Steps to delete your account and data
- Sign in to BrickProof at brickproof.com (or your app URL) with the same account you used to register.
- Open your Profile (e.g. from the user menu in the header).
- Scroll to the Danger zone section at the bottom of the page.
- Click Delete my account to open the account deletion page.
- Read the warning, check the confirmation box to confirm you understand that all data will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered, then click Delete my account.
After you confirm, we permanently delete your account and all associated data, including collections, collection items, receipts, images, insurance documents, valuation history, and any other data tied to your account. You will be signed out and can no longer access the account.
What we delete
When you delete your account, we permanently remove:
- Your account (email, profile, and sign-in linkage)
- All your collections and collection items
- All receipts and uploaded receipt files
- All images linked to your items
- All generated insurance documents
- Valuation history, condition history, and related records
- Subscription and parser-rating data associated with your account
This action cannot be undone. We do not retain copies of your data after deletion.
If you signed in with Facebook or another provider
Deleting your account in BrickProof (using the steps above) removes all your data from our service. If you previously signed in with Facebook, Google, or another identity provider, we only store a link between your BrickProof account and that provider (e.g. so you can sign in). When you delete your account, we delete that link and all your BrickProof data.
To revoke BrickProof’s access to your Facebook (or other provider) account without deleting your BrickProof data, you can use the provider’s app or account settings to remove BrickProof. If you later sign back in to BrickProof with the same email, we can reconnect your existing account.
Can't sign in?
If you requested deletion of your data from Facebook (or another provider) but can no longer sign in to BrickProof, you can still have your account and data deleted. Contact us via our contact page and provide the confirmation code you received when you submitted the deletion request. We will then process the account deletion for you.
