What is BrickProof?
BrickProof is a web app that helps you document your LEGO® collection, receipts, and inventory in one place.
It's designed for collectors who need proof of ownership, organized records, and documentation for insurance or personal tracking. You can store receipts, track sets and accessories, and generate reports when needed.
How do I track the value of my LEGO collection?
You can track your collection's value in BrickProof using collection views and reporting tools.
BrickProof provides valuation-oriented summaries so you can see how your collection changes over time, including set-level values and overall totals depending on your plan and available data sources.
Values are for informational purposes only and are not appraisals or guarantees of market price.
How do receipts work in BrickProof?
You can upload receipts and link them to specific items in your collection.
Receipts are stored securely and can be used as proof of purchase and ownership. BrickProof helps organize these records but does not replace legal or insurance advice.
What is the best way to store LEGO receipts?
The best way to store LEGO receipts is to keep clear, complete records that are easy to link to your collection items.
Best practices:
- Save receipts as PDFs when possible (preferred over screenshots)
- Use clear photos if a PDF is not available
- Keep the original, unedited file
- Ensure key details are visible (retailer, date, items, total)
- Link each receipt to the correct set or item
BrickProof helps you organize and securely store receipts so they're easy to find when you need proof of purchase or ownership.
What is Smart Import?
Smart Import automatically adds items to your collection from supported receipts and invoices.
For example, it can extract LEGO sets from:
- LEGO.com orders
- Amazon invoices
- Other supported formats
Availability and usage limits depend on your subscription plan.
Can BrickProof help with insurance documentation?
Yes—BrickProof can generate summary reports and documentation that may help support insurance claims.
However, what your insurer accepts—and how your collection is covered—depends on your specific policy and provider.
Can I share my collection with an insurance company?
Yes—you can share your collection using exports or documentation generated in BrickProof.
Depending on your plan, you may be able to:
- Generate summary reports or documentation packets
- Export collection data to share with an insurer
- Use read-only share links (if enabled)
Acceptance and coverage decisions are determined by your insurance provider.
How do billing and cancellations work?
BrickProof uses Stripe for billing and subscription management.
If you cancel, your subscription remains active until the end of your current billing period. You can manage billing, invoices, and payment methods through the Stripe customer portal.
How is my data stored and protected?
BrickProof stores your receipts, images, and collection data securely.
For full details on data usage, storage, and your rights, see the Privacy Policy. You can also request account or data deletion at any time.
How do I delete my data or account?
You can request account and data deletion through the Data Deletion Instructions page.
This includes receipts, images, and collection data associated with your account.
